Gretchen Rubin, author of The Happiness Project —a book and a blog about her adventures learning to be happier — explained in an article in Psychology Today why it’s important to treat YOURSELF sometimes.
“I do think it’s important to take time for treats, because treats help us to feel energized, restored, and light-hearted,” she writes. “Without them, we can start to feel resentful, depleted, and irritable.”
