Just in time for all those July 4th barbecues, we wanted to share this healthy spicy turkey burger recipe! Avoiding carbs? Just wrap them up in lettuce instead of a bun!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound 93%-lean ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground allspice
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
Prep:
Mix the ground turkey with everything bu the oil in a bowl. Make into 4 patties. Brush with oil and grill them up!
