New addition to Pilates Team!

Janice Lee Brennan RN, CPI, VBI comes to the Pilates community with extensive training and background in the classical method of Pilates.  Jan was awarded a scholarship from the Pilates studio at the Atlanta Ballet and began studying the classical method with Romana Krysnowska and her daughter Sari in both the New York and Atlanta Certification Centers.

Completing her 600 hour certification in NYC at the original Dragos gym with Romana in 2000, she then returned to the certification center in Georgia to train dancers from the Atlanta Ballet the Georgia Ballet and apprentices of the classical Pilates method, assisting with ongoing seminars for the next three years.

She reached out to her local medical community to bring Pilates as outreach to recovering breast cancer patients at Northside Hospital’s wellness community originating the Pilates recovery program, and Mount Bethel United Methodist church as well.  She also taught dance students at Emory University and the Pace Academy both in the greater Atlanta area.   Jan then became the Lead Expert trainer at the Concourse Athletic Center Pilates Studio in Buckhead, Georgia and remained working with trainers from several different Pilates disciplines keeping her trademark ability of elevating clients to the advanced level safely and in accordance with their own personal ability, and desire.

Jan returned home to the Northeast in 2009 and reintroduced classical dance and ballet principles into her practice.  Janice completed V Barre certification in 2012, and VBarre Boot camp certification in 2013.  She launched her personally choreographed “Pilates at the Barre” classes in NY in 2013 and continues to focus on challenging her clients to reach their highest potential.
