Free your Mind with Rosa: 40 min group session working on identifying everyday stressors and tools to manage them. Max participants 7. Please note: childcare ends at 7PM on Wed 4/29.
Tai Chi with Domingo: Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese martial art that is practiced today as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner. Sometimes described as “meditation in motion” tai chi is used worldwide for balance improvement and stress reduction. Domingo has been teaching Tai Chi for decades.
Punch it Out: Any member who comes into the club will have an opportunity to punch “Bob” for 30 seconds – we’ll keep track of the highest amount of hits in the 30 seconds. Winner receives a prize! (one arm jabs, ladies! BOOM).
Self Acupressure with Avra: Acupressure is an ancient healing art to promote balance in your body’s energy system. During this workshop you will find acupressure points on yourself that will tap into your innate self-regulating powers. You will learn a simple acupressure routine to help reduce stress, leaving you feeling calm and focused.
Hands on Stretching: Lay and be stretched, 10 minutes/person.
Chair Massage: Avra/Artem (10 mins) sign up in advance!
Food for Thought: Kathy will have handouts on stress eating and tips to fight against it + a special take home snack to keep on hand when the cravings kick in.
