spring sunsetOne of the questions we hear a lot at Healthy Fit  is "When is the best time to work out?"

Well, to tell you the truth, it depends.

For example, in a recent study Belgian scientists took three groups of healthy men and fed them a diet high in sugar, fat, and calories. One group didn't work out at all. Another group worked out after breakfast, and the other group did the same work out before breakfast.

How to Beat the BBQ blues - Tips and Strategies

- Bring healthy dishes to share. Ideas include veggie platter, fruit platter, whole wheat pasta salad, light hot dogs, and/or veggie burgers. Your family and friends will think you are so generous, while you secretly plan on filling up on your healthy foods.

- Get Active! Bring a frisbee, play with the kids, and run around! Take the focus off food!

- Avoid impulse eating by spending time away from the buffet table.

Get involved in a Group Exercise or Small Group Training class today!

The reservation policy is 2 DAYS in advance, not 48 hours.
Members cannot enter a class more than 10 minutes after it has begun.
There is no cell phone usage in any Studio.
Check in with front desk for all classes requiring reservation.
All classes are subject to last minute class content/instructor changes or cancellation.

Well, the doctor is in and answering all of your fitness and weight loss questions! Join Healthy Fit, June 7th at 7PM for our June Workshop, "The Doctor Vasami Show"! (Disclaimer: Greg Vasami is not a REAL doctor.) Our parody of the "Dr. Oz Show" will include your chance to ask all of those questions you have been wondering about.
